Be Green Packaging
Be Green Packaging was the first food packaging company in the United States to achieve Cradle to Cradle Silver certification for their commitment to prosperity through sustainability. Their entire line of plant fiber products is certified compostable and recyclable by an array of independent 3rd party organizations.
Their products are created from a select blend of plant fibers, namely bulrush and bamboo, which are ethically wild-harvested from annually renewable stocks. These durable plants are then pulped and moulded into a variety of shapes and sizes utilizing traditional methods that are 100% chemical free.
Be Green Packaging separates itself from the ever-growing pack of compostable packaging suppliers by maintaining the highest level of eco-certification in the industry. Transparency is a core value of the company and they believe the only way to achieve this is through extensive independent, 3rd party testing of all products and claims. To date, Be Green has received certifications from the following organizations:
-Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute
-Biodegradable Products Institute
-Western Michigan Recycling Program
-USDA BioPreferred Program
-Wilmington Organic Recycling Center, Peninsula Compost Group Approved

Be Green’s products are freezer, microwave, and oven safe making them some of the most durable plant-fiber products on the market.
Be Green Packaging is the recipient of the DuPont Diamond Award for Innovation in Packaging, the highest honor bestowed by the company in recognition of sustainable packaging innovation.
At Be Green, they believe in giving back to the communities in which they operate and the world at large. They maintain annual philanthropic donations to local environmental organizations in Santa Barbara, CA and also contribute to the Whole Planet Foundation, a worldwide microfinance non-profit that primarily lends to women in developing countries.
